Rochester 74, Emory 56

ROCHESTER, NY — Ryan Mee sank a three-point goal midway through the first half to fuel an 18-4 run over six minutes that helped third-ranked Rochester defeat Emory University, 74-56, at the Louis Alexander Palestra here.

Six players contributed to the run. Seth Hauben scored the final four points which extended the UR lead to 33-14 with 6:04 left in the first half.

Rochester is 23-1 overall, 12-1 in the UAA. The Yellowjackets remain one game ahead of Washington University in the UAA race. The Yellowjackets need a win at Carnegie Mellon next Saturday to clinch the UAA title and automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
