Cambridge, Mass. — MIT fell to Tufts University, 66-40, in a non-conference women’s basketball game on Thursday night. Samia Mahjub had a game-high 13 points and nine rebounds for the Engineers (3-19). Julia Verplank paced the Jumbos (18-5) with 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including hitting 2-of-2 from three-point range.
