Concordia-Moorhead 81, Augsburg 53

Moorhead, Minn. — Concordia finished off their regular season by running past Augsburg 81-53. The Cobbers stretched a 10-point halftime
lead to 16 points in the first 2:30 of the second and went on to claim the 28-point victory. That margin of victory is the largest for the Cobbers in a conference game this season.

The victory pushes Concordia's conference mark to 17-5, the most league wins by a Cobber team since the 1999-00 season. The Cobbers are now 19-6 overall, one win shy of cracking the 20-win barrier for the 17th time in school history. Augsburg falls to 5-16 in the MIAC and 5-19 overall. Concordia will now wait until Saturday to find out who their opponent will be in the first round of the MIAC Tournament. The Cobbers will host either the #6 or #5 seed in the conference on Monday, February 23 at 7:30pm.
