The Salem State Vikings (18-4, 9-0) edged the Framingham State Rams (7-13, 3-7) 66-62 in MASCAC play this afternoon on Senior Day at Framingham State. Framingham State led by one at the half, 34-33, as both teams shot exceptionally well from the floor in the first half with Salem shooting 54% and Framingham shooting 46%. In the second half, both teams cooled off from the floor. Salem State took control of the game behind 19 points from junior Allen Reid and 17 points and 12 rebound from senior John Goya. Sophomore Shawn Bloom added 15 points for the Vikings. Juniors Paul Tanglis and Chris Feeney, who had 14 and 13 points respectively, led Framingham State. Juniors Shane Little and Jared Clark added 12 points apiece.
The Rams final two games are on the road, Tuesday night at 8pm at Fitchburg State and Thursday night at Westfield State.
