Senior Rashad Cope paced the Falcons (8-12) with 16 points while Dan Largesse chipped in with 14 points, including four three-pointers. Point guard Ja’Quaine Coe added 13 points and Jim Prignano continued his recent strong play with 11 points.
Newbury (9-13), who only trailed 32-30 at the half, got a monster effort inside from Julius Hobert. The junior forward registered 17 points and corralled 16 rebounds. Billy Penn scored 14 points for the Nighhawks and Sonny Abraham added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
