Elms 76, Newbury 71

BROOKLINE, Ma. — Elms College junior guard Kyle Seyboth (Seekonk, MA) had 21 points, all on 3-pointers, to lead the Blazers to a 76-71 win over Newbury College in Tuesday evening’s non-conference men’s basketball game at Newbury College.

The Blazers won their second straight game to improve to 8-12 overall, while Newbury fell to 9-12 overall.

Freshman guard John Ancrum (Harlem, NY) added 20 points, going 10 of 14 from the free throw line for the Blazers, who led 32-30 at halftime.

In the past two games, Seyboth has a combined 14 3-pointers for the Blazers.

The Blazers travel to Johnson State College on Saturday, February 14. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
