Watertown, WI — Eagles Maintain First Place Tie with Outstanding Defensive Effort at Maranatha
Eagles Defense MBBC to Season Low 45 Points
2/10/04 ... The Edgewood College (13-10, 8-2) men’s basketball team maintained a tie for first in the LMC with a 60-44 victory at Maranatha. Down 12-4, the Eagles rallied to tie the score at 20-20 at halftime. A combination of clutch shooting by Luke Sadowski, Greg Blaska, and Kyle Scott along with another stingy defensive effort allowed the Eagles to pull away in the second half. The strong team defense, led by Todd Paradis, Dave Michalkiewicz, Randy Kolinske, Tanner Pratt, and Nick Lehman ... along with Sadowski, Blaska, & Scott ... held Maranatha to a season low 45 points on 24% shooting from the floor.
The Eagles will face MSOE, who lost to Concordia 102-96 in overtime tonight, this Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Edgedome for Senior Day.
