Dana Kester posted a double-double of 24 points and 11 assists. Taylor Foltz scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Both Cox and Kester played all 40 minutes as Dubuque used just seven players in the contest.
Simpson was led by Amanda Pilcher who scored 28 points on 12-14 shooting. Pilcher's performance was the fourth best shooting night in a game in school history. Ashley Bogaards scored 13 points while Tessa Van Oosbree charted 11.
