Plattsburgh State 81, Oneonta State 62

Oneonta, NY — Curtis Smith led four players into double-figures scoring as the Plattsburgh State men’s basketball team won its third straight game and fifth in the last six games, with an 81-62 road victory over Oneonta State on Saturday.
Smith paced the Cardinals (11-9 overall, 5-6 SUNYAC) with 18 points and Johnnie Carter added 15, Jimmy Corless 14 and Tom Carpenter 13 points for Plattsburgh.
Carter led the way on the boards with 12 rebounds and Darnell Lynch grabbed 10 as the Cardinals outrebounded the Red Dragons 49-26.
The Cardinals led by 11 points (38-27) at halftime.
The Cardinals continue SUNYAC play with an 8 p.m. home game Tuesday against Oswego State before returning to the road for games on Friday at Geneseo and Saturday at Brockport State.
