With the loss, the Blazers fell to 4-14 overall, 4-8 NAC. Mount Ida College won its sixth straight game to improve to 14-3 overall, 10-1 NAC.
Freshman guard Kristin Santos (Tiverton, RI) led all scorers with 20 points for the Mustangs, who used a 31-6 second half run to seal the victory.
Sophomore guard Melissa Simbilaris (Danvers, MA) scored 16 points, including three 3-pointers, and freshman forward Adrienne Xenos (Brockton, MA) added 12 points for Mount Ida College, which held a decisive edge in points off turnovers (39-12).
Elms College returns to NAC play on Thursday, February 12 at Wheelock College. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
