Smith also led the Cardinals (10-9 overall, 4-6 SUNYAC) with 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals while Carter grabbed nine rebounds.
The Cards shot an impressive 55 percent in the second half and finished the game hitting 52.5% of their shots from the field and also outrebounded the Hawks 42-27.
