The Bombers erased an 11-point deficit in the final 8:36 of regulation to force overtime but visiting RIT took over sole possession of first place in the Empire 8 on Luis Villalongo’s three-point basket with two seconds left in overtime.
Senior forward Tyler Schulz scored eight points down the stretch and finished with 15 points (all after halftime) and 13 rebounds.Junior guard Ian Houck posted career-best totals of 18 points and six rebounds in his first start as a Bomber. Sophomore guard Jim Bellis added 16 points. Sophomore point guard Jonathan Whetstone recorded a career-high 10 assists and added nine points. Sophomore forward Brian Andruskiewicz led the team with 10 rebounds.
Fran Snyder led the Tigers with a game-high 21 points. Kyle Goff added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Villalongo and Sean Murphy netted 10 points apiece.
