Junior Nick Pelotte (Bingham, ME) lit up the Bridgewater defense for 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field, while adding 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Senior Mike Loughlin (Manchester, NH) added 19 points, going 4-for-5 from behind the three point arc in the second half. Junior Anthony Oglesby (Brooklyn, NY) played a solid all-around game, dropping 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals for Plymouth State.
Junior Peter Santos (Fairhaven, MA) was the lone bright spot for the Bears on the offensive side of the ball, registering 25 points, while connecting on 5 of 9 shooting from three-point range. Senior point guard Ryan Anderson (North Easton, MA) tallied 8 assists and 6 steals in the losing effort.
Prior to the start of the game, BSC head coach, Joe Farroba, was present the game ball from his 146th career win on Tuesday, an 86-69 win over MASCAC foe Westfield State College. The 146 coaching wins is the most ever in the long history of the men's basketball program at Bridgewater State.
Bridgewater will travel to Framingham State on Saturday for a MASCAC game, while Plymouth State will host Eastern Connecticut State University on Saturday as well, in a battle of Little East Conference opponents. Both games start at 3.
