The 24th ranked Bulldogs (16-3, 6-2 Freedom) scored the first 12 points of the game and led by as many as 26 markers, 45-19, in the first half as they cruising to its school-record 16th straight home victory. Drew (5-12, 2-6 Freedom) committed 23 turnovers and DeSales out-rebounded the Rangers 32-16 for the game. The Bulldogs also shot a blistering 62.3 percent and totaled 29 assists on their 38 made field goals.
Junior David Bright led the way tying his career with 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Bright scored the first nine points of the ball game including a monster dunk for the second basket of the contest.
Fellow junior Michael Venafra totaled a season-high 18 points and also handed out seven assists and junior David Spadt came off the bench to post 10 points, including his first career dunk off a steal mid-way through the second half that brought the crowd to its feet.
Germane Williams came off the bench to score 14 points, including a 4-for-4 night from long distance to lead the Ranger attack. Brad Greenman also tallied double digits with 11 points.
