Senior William Morley helped paved the way with a game-high 21 points. It was his eighth game with 20-plus points this season.
Catholic (15-5, 7-2 CAC) took a 36-30 lead into the locker room but Salisbury rallied early in the second. Two Segun Odumeru free throws capped an 11-0 run in which the Sea Gulls led 40-39 with just over 17 minutes in the stanza.
An Adam Dickman trey reclaimed the CUA lead at 46-44 with 14:33 to play and help ignite a 15-0 run by Catholic. Dickman had just three-points but dished out seven assists.
Sophomore Patrick Satalin added 12 points, 10 coming in the second half. His second three-pointer of the night gave the Cardinals a 68-51 lead with 5:37 to play.
Odumeru and Ray Williams each scored 12 points apiece to pace the Sea Gulls (4-14, 1-8 CAC).
