Hope 66, Adrian 52

Holland, Mich. — A 19 point run at the end of the first half and during the start of the second provided the momentum for a 66-52 Hope victory over Adrian on Wednesday night.

Coach Brian Morehouse's nationally ranked Flying Dutch maintain their lead in the MIAA standings, improving to 10-1. Calvin is a half-game behind at 9-1.

Adrian led 26-22 with 3:57 remaining in the first half. Hope would score the next six points to gain a 28-26 halftime advantage. The Flying Dutch outscored Adrian 13-0 in the first five minutes of the second half to go ahead 41-26.

Lauren Jensen, Hope's only senior player, had the first double-double of her collegiate career scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. She was one of five Hope players to score in double figures. Kelly Taylor led all scorers with 13 points while Bria Ebels added 12, Megan Noll 11 and Adelynn Vilmann 10.

Five players scored a three-point basket as the Dutch shot 8-for-16 from outside the arch.

The Flying Dutch improved to 19-2 on the season.
