Dover, DE — Wesley College (4-13, 2-8) hosted non-conference opponent Hood College (8-9) on Tuesday night pulling out a thrilling 80-75 win over the Blazers in overtime. Nick Minor led Wesley with 25 points, while going 7-of-8 from the free-throw line and pulling down 11 rebounds. Robert Gordy and Jeremy Berkowitz had 15 and 14 points for the Wolverine’s in the win. Gordy shot 6-of-9 from the field and collected 8 boards in the effort.
Hood was led by Santo Provenzano's game-high 26 points on 11-of-22 shooting from the field. Darnell Edmonds and Sean Robine had 13 points apiece.
Wesley had 17 points off of 17 turnovers and out-rebounded the Blazers 44-38. The Wolverine’s shot 28-of-62 (45.2%) for the game. Wesley tied the game with 1:28 to play in regulation on Josh Kline’s 3-pointer and held on to force overtime.
