Chris Ask led UW-L with a career-high 19 points and eight rebounds. He was eight-of-15 from the field (one-of-four three-point range) and hit both of his free throw attempts. Chris Fehrenbach scored a career-high 18 points, all coming in the second half. He was six-of-nine from three-point range in the game, including six-of-six in the second half. Joe Werner added 12 points for UW-L.

Richard Mullen led Case Western Reserve with 14 points while Mason Conrad added 10. CWR shot 29.7% (19-of-64) from the field, including 21.7% (five-of-23) from three-point range. The team was seven-of-11 (63.6%) at the free throw line.
UW-L led by as many as seven in the first half at 18-11 with 7:20 remaining before CWR went on a 9-4 run to end the half. The Eagles raced out to a 32-21 lead early in the second half opening with a 10-2 run. After the Spartans cut the lead to 32-22, the Eagles went on a 21-5 run to lead 53-27 with 10:39 left. Fehrenbach had nine points in the run. CWR could only get closer than the final margin of 14 points.
