The Saints (6-5) have now won four consecutive games, and will look to extend their streak Thursday when they face the Earlham Quakers.
Thomas More turned up the defensive intensity in the second half, holding the Ravens to 36 percent shooting. They also forced AU into 13 second turnovers, 26 overall.
Hot shooting didn't hurt the team second half surge as they connected on 56 percent from the field.
With 12 minutes remaining in the game, Thomas More turned the game around with three straight three-pointers; two from sophomore Brooke Warner (Maineville, OH/Kings) and the other from senior Allison Byars (Lexington/Lafayette). The crucial run turned a Thomas More's strenuous one-point lead into a comfortable 10-point advantage.
Byars' three pointer moved her past Joanna Bess for fifth place in career three-pointers made.
The TMC lead would grow to as much as 14 points before a late Anderson rally pulled them to within six.
Warner led the Saints with 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Sophomore Megan Wood (Falmouth/Pendleton County) added 12 points, seven rebounds and six steals.
Senior Carrie Clift (Alexandria/Bishop Brossart) pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.
