Tanner Kudrna led the Cowboys with 14 points, but it was a total team effort as five other players hit double figures and all but one of the Cowboys scored. HSU committed a season-low 11 turnovers and hit 10 3-pointers, while shooting 58.3 percent from the field.
Zach Pickelman scored 13 points and James Peters added 10, but it was the bench that led the Cowboys, as HSU’s bench outscored LC 56-19 in the game. Three freshmen – Tress White (13), Mardochee Jean (12) and Marlon Washington (10) each hit double figures off the bench.
Casey Meador and T.J. Drew scored 15 each for Louisiana College.
HSU improved to 6-4 on the year and 4-3 in ASC play. Louisiana College fell to 4-5 overall and 3-4 in league play. HSU is off until Jan. 6 when it plays at Austin College.
