Junior forward Frank Jackson registered game-highs of 22 points and 11 boards in Sunday’s win, while classmate Robert Haney Jr. finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and five steals. EMU shot a scorching 57.1% from the field en route to a 33-25 halftime lead. However, the Bison stepped up the defensive pressure, holding them to just 25.8% in the second half, while tallying 41 points themselves. Jackson took a nifty feed from Haney for a ferocious jam shortly before rookie guard Sekoe White – who finished with eight points and a trio of steals – hit a layup with four seconds remaining to seal the win.
