Bridgewater (Va.) 74, Ferrum 62

BRIDGEWATER, Va. — Ricky Easterling poured in a career-high 38 points and also added nine rebounds Sunday afternoon to lead the Bridgewater College Eagles to a 74-62 victory over Ferrum College in the final game of the BC/Don Glick Invitational.

Easterling connected on 15-of-24 shots from the floor to lead the Eagles attack. Josh Maupin added nine points, Clay Michael grabbed eight rebounds and C.W. Durrette dished out seven assists. Freshman Dan Cunningham also turned in his best performance of the season as he scored nine points and pulled down six rebounds in 17 minutes of action.

For the Panthers, Keith Harris scored 15 points, Ken Holley added 12 points and seven rebounds and Kenny Johnson scored 10 points.

Bridgewater improved to 8-1 while Ferrun dropped to 3-6.
