Maryville (Tenn.) 99, Thomas More 62

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky — Juniors Andrae Woodard (Allensville/Todd County Central) and R.K. Thurman (Portsmouth, OH/Portsmouth) each scored in double figures in Thomas More's 99-62 loss to Maryville Saturday at Connor Convocation Center.
The game was tied once, at 2-2, and Thomas More never led in falling to it fourth loss of the season. Points off turnovers and points in the paint were dominated by the Scots as they held a 22-point advantage in point off turnovers and a 14-point advantage in points in the paint.
The loss was Thomas More's first home defeat of the season as they went to 3-1 at home, and 3-4 overall.
Thurman added team-high with seven rebounds and three assists. Sophomore E.J. Haynes (Cincinnati, OH/Walnut Hills) added seven boards and eight points for the Saints.
Thomas More will return to action December 23 when they travel to Lexington for a 7:30 p.m. game with Transylvania.
