North Carolina Wesleyan 75, Gallaudet 64ROCKY MOUNT, NC — The Gallaudet University men's basketball team was upended at non-league foe North Carolina Wesleyan, 75-64, on Saturday afternoon. Junior forward Frank Jackson paced the Bison with 21 points, while rookie guard Sekoe White added 14. Ramone Spears led NC Wesleyan with a game-high 28 points and 10 boards.
The Bison trailed by as much as 25 points before they made a second half run, cutting the deficit to one with seven minutes remaining. However, the visitors couldn't grasp the lead as the hosts held on for the win, improving to 5-3 overall. Gallaudet dropped to 3-7.
