LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. — Lincoln put three players in double figures as the
Lions (6-4) rallied from a five-point halftime deficit in a 80-70 win over Widener (6-4) Saturday afternoon.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Widener, and marked the first time that Widener has scored less than 90 points in a contest since November 28.

Sophomore guard Essien Ford, senior guard
Casey Stitzel and sophomore forward Malcolm
Thomas each scored a team-high 15 points for the
Pioneers.

The Pioneers were out rebounded 54-29, with junior center Kris Clarkson had 11 rebounds for Widener.

Lincoln’s Kyle Myrick had 26 points, while Jarrett Kearse had 19.

Widener will next be in action on Tuesday, Jan. 4 as the Pioneers travel to Goucher.
