New Jersey (7-1, 4-0 NJAC) led 48-40 at halftime and took control during the early part of the second half with a 14-2 run. They led comfortably the rest of the game as Baruch could only get as close as 83-66 with 3:15 remaining.
Louie Karis led Baruch (7-2, 3-0 CUNYAC) with 18 points, while Chris Alesi scored 12 points and John Burzo added 10 points and five assists.
New Jersey (7-1, 4-0) received a solid effort from Kyle Burke (15 points), Bobby Henning (12 points, four assists), and Bobby Davison (11 points, nine rebounds).
Baruch will go on break for final exams and the holidays before regrouping to participate in the Western Connecticut Tournament on December 28 against Fitchburg State.
New Jersey will host City Tech this upcoming Monday in a non-conference game.
