Senior Courtney Griffin and junior Rick Haas led a balanced attack scoring 10 points each respectively.
The Griffins (7-1), which never trailed in the contest, led 39-21 at the half. Valley Forge had first-half shooting woes, connecting on just 7-of-33 (21%) from the floor.
Griffin added a team-high eight boards while senior Kenny Faison chipped in seven points and six rebounds.
James Fulton netted 15 points, Vaughn Carson contributed 12 points, and Eric Addison recorded six points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots for Valley Forge Christian (3-9).
As a team, GMC was 27-of-60 (45%) shooting while the Patriots were 19-of-63 (30%).
Gwynedd-Mercy will return to action on January 3rd 2005, as the Griffins will take on SUNY-Old Westbury in the first game of the Franklin & Marshall Rotary Tip-Off the New Year Tournament at 5 p.m.
