The win marked a perfect 3-0 homestand for the Pioneers, who have now scored
90-plus points in the last four games.
Senior guard Matt Sheaffer scored a team-high 19 points to lead the Pioneers, who built the lead as high as 30 points in the second half after only being up by 40-37 at the half.
Sophomore forward Malcolm Thomas scored 18 points, while sophomore guard Essien Ford and senior guard Casey Stitzel scored 15.
Junior center Kris Clarkson also scored 13 pointsand grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Junior Jeremy Coleman had a game-high 27 points for Philadelphia Biblical, who
scored just 30 points in the second half.
Widener outrebounded the Crimson Eagles 33-31 on the night.
The Pioneers go to Lincoln Saturday for a non-conference game to close out the
2004 portion of their schedule.
