DOVER, De. — Wesley College (1-6) defeated non-conference opponent Gallaudet University (3-6) by a final score of 69-54 on Thursday night in men's basketball action. Nick Minor (Gambrills, MD/Arundel) had a game-high 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and also grabbed 10 rebounds. Minor was 5-of-8 from 3-point range. Pat Woods (Lewes, DE/Cape Henlopen) had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Wolverines led 37-26 at the half.
Gallaudet had two players in double-figures being led by Frank Jackson’s (Detroit, MI/Detroit M. Wright) 20 point and 5 rebound effort. Sekoe White (Lexington, KY/P.L. Dunbar) posted 19 points, 5 rebounds and two steals. The Bison shot 17-of-60 (28.3%) from the field for the game.
The Wolverines shot 26-of-60 (43.3%) from the field and out-rebounded the Bison 46-42. Wesley committed only 12 turnovers in the contest.
