Junior Tim Dutille (Sunapee, NH/Lebanon) converted four lay-ups in a four minute stretch as Clark sprinted out to a 42-34 advantage. Dutille ended the contest with 18 points on 8 of 11 shooting from the floor
Fitchburg State enjoyed a 24-21 half time lead after yielding just five first half field goals and forcing Clark to miss 17 of their first 20 shots from the field. Graduate student Rashad Cope (Roxbury/Snowden) paced the Falcons with 12 points and 6 rebounds while senior Jim Prignano (West Hartford/Northwest Catholic) chipped in with 10 points and 4 assists.
FSC will return to action on Saturday when they host Becker at 1pm. Clark is off until after Christmas when they participate in the Staten Island Tournament on December 28th and 29th. The Cougars will draw New Jersey City in the first round.
