Rhodes (2-6, 0-2) led 74-65 at 1:10. Eddy and teammate Chris Stedelin combined for the Tigers next eight points to make it 78-73 Rhodes with 22 seconds remaining.
Sewanee's Gary Grizzle hit a 3-pointer at 15 seconds (78-76) followed by two missed free throws by Rhodes Joe Thompson to set up Eddy's heroics.
Rhodes led by as many as 16 in the first half at 33-17 at 8:13 on two free throws by Thompson. His 3-pointer to open the second half gave Rhodes its biggest second half lead (14) at 49-35 at 19:51.
Top Scorer: Sewanee's Joey Garcia had 23 points in 36 minutes, followed by Spencer Rowland (22) and Eddy (12). Eddy also had a game-high eight assists.
Rhodes' Matthew Jakes had 22, followed by Rami Almefty and Justin Strong with 15 each.
Top Rebounder: Sewanee's Stedelin had a career-high 10 boards. Justin Strong led Rhodes with six.
Weekend Sweep: Coupled with Friday's wins against Hendrix, this is the first time since Feb. 2002 in which Sewanee has swept four games (men and women) in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference weekend.
The two Tiger teams are in first place in the SCAC with 2-0 records. The women are in sole possession of first, while the men and Centre are co-leaders.
2-0 Start in SCAC: This is the first time in seven seasons in which the Sewanee men have started 2-0 in the SCAC. The Tigers were 2-0 in early January 1998 with road wins at Oglethorpe and Millsaps.
