Frank Jackson was the leading scorer and rebounder for Gallaudet (3-4, 0-3 CAC) as he knocked down 17 points and grabbed 12 boards.
Russo nailed three of his three-point field goals during a 17-6 run by the Gophers to start the game. The Bison had fought back to get within 30-28 late in the first half when Russo landed his final shot from three-point range. At the half, Goucher enjoyed a 34-29 lead.
Russo's only basket of the second half provided the Gophers with their biggest lead of the contest at 48-31 with 15:17 left to play.
