The Eagles’ defense stymied the visitors early, holding the Royals to just six points in the first 12 minutes as BC opened up a 22-6 lead.
BC maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the half and led 31-17 at the break.
The Royals trimmed the deficit to eight early in the second half when Jason Lentz scored from the paint to make it 32-24.
Josh Maupin was fouled on three-pointer and hit all three foul shots and Harry Moore threw down a dunk to put the Eagles back on top by 13, 37-24 with 14:46 left to play.
The Royals hung around and trailed by 12, 49-37, with 9:46 left, but an 11-2 run by the Eagles, sparked by the inside play of Clay Michael, gave the Eagles a comfortable 60-39 lead.
Moore led a quartet of Eagles in double figures with 12 points. Michael added a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards while Josh Maupin and C.W. Durrette each scored 10. Ricky Easterling, who played just 21 minutes due to foul problems, added nine points. Nick Stewart also gave the Eagles a lift off the bench with nine.

The Eagles are now 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the ODAC while EMU drops to 3-2, 1-1 in the conference.
