Lehman 89, SUNY-Maritime 69Bronx, NY — Junior point guard Willy Vargas scored 18 points, and sophomore Derek Moses also contributed 18 points as Lehman College defeated SUNY Maritime 89-69 in men’s basketball action.
Lehman (4-1) also received 15 points from senior forward Miguel Jorge., while sophomore Kevan Proctor provided the inside presence for the Lightning with 12 rebounds for Lehman. Maritime (0-6) was led by Robert Denton who finished with a team high of 21 points. Up next for Lehman is a CUNY conference match-up with the College of Staten Island, Tuesday night on the road.
