Five Beavers scored in double figures led by Bobby Deetjen with 16 points 9 rebounds, followed by Steve Ginn (5 assists) and Travis Magnusson (5 assists) with 14 each and Matt St. John with 13 and Luke Nielsen with 10.
Thomas was led by Adam Rich with 28 points. James Godley added 18 and Dan Grappi chipped in with 14 points and 5 steals. Josh Yucius grabbed a game high 12 rebounds.
UMF stands at 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the NAC. The Beavers return to action on Saturday when they host Colby College at 3pm.
