Millikin 110, MacMurray 88

JACKSONVILLE, Il. — MacMurray College lost a men's basketball game to Millikin University 110-88, at home, last night. It was not a good night of shooting for the Highlanders and the Bib Blue controlled the boards, so it was an uphill battle from the beginning. Millikin was well-prepared for the running offense of MacMurray and left town with a 2-1 record. The Highlanders had set a new school record with 15 treys in their previous game with Robert Morris but could only knock down 10 of 33 in last night's loss. Millikin had 6 players in double figures and were led by hot shooting Jason Fisher was was 7-10 from long range and ended up with 27 points. McIntosh was 3-11 from the field and 8-13 from the charity stripe to lead MacMurray. Dawson Huff had his best game of the year with 14, Robinson netted 13 and Ryan Eberhart had another good game with 10. MacMurray was out rebounded 42-29 and the Bib Blue matched the Highlanders in turn overs and steals. Next up for MacMurray will Knox College, in Galesburg, at 3:00 Saturday.
