Elms 76, Becker 54LEICESTER, Ma. — Elms College freshman guard Raemarie Josefiak (Springfield, MA) tallied a collegiate career-high 14 points and the Blazers placed four players in double figures to cruise to a convincing 76-54 win over Becker College in Wednesday night’s North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women’s basketball opener for both teams at Leicester.
With the win, the Blazers snapped a three-game losing streak to improve to 1-3 overall, 1-0 NAC. Becker College fell to 2-2 overall. Junior forward Danielle Dugre (Holyoke, MA) recorded a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds for the Blazers in the victory. Becker College freshman guard Brittany Evans (Danielson, CT) led all scorers with 18 points.
