For the first time in (26) AMCC games the Lady Mavs found themselves as the losing team as Penn State-Behrend shocked Medaille (50-49) in the Junker Center on the Behrend campus. The Lady Mavs led for much of the game but fell victim to a tough Behrend squad as the home team knocked down two free throws with (9.3) seconds remaining and fought off a last second shot attempt enroute to the upset. In the loss Medaille was led by Carissa Ferrucci (Hamburg, NY/Immaculata) who had a team high (12) points, while Amanda Baker (Lyons, NY/Newark), led the team with (10) boards. The loss is the third in four games for Medaille and it drops them to (9-4) on the season and (5-1) in AMCC play. The Lady Mavs will look to rebound as they will host Penn State-Altoona on Saturday (1/13) for a 1:00pm tipoff.
