CHICAGO — Led by Jesse Meyer and Nate Hainje, the University of Chicago men's basketball team hit a University Athletic Association record 17 three-point field goals en route to an 81-74 win over the University of Rochester Sunday at the Ratner Athletics Center.

Meyer went 6-for-6 from the behind the arc, while Hainje was 5-for-10. The 17 three-pointers also tied the school record set earlier this season.

Chicago (13-3 overall, 4-1 UAA) hit 13 of 19 three-point attempts in the first half and finished the game 17-for-30, good for a .567 percentage.

The Maroons opened up a 49-35 halftime advantage and maintained a double-digit lead for all but the game's final 19 seconds.

Meyer finished with a game-high 24 points, while Brandon Woodhead and Hainje collected 19 and 16 points, respectively. Woodhead was 3-for-4 from the three-point distance.

Tim Brackney led three Yellowjackets (11-5, 2-3) in double figures with 22 points. Jeff Juron scored 13 points, and Jon Onyiriuka contributed 10.
