NEW YORK, N.Y. — Farmingdale State sophomore guard Damien Santana (Brooklyn, NY/Grady) poured in a game-high 25 points, including 7-of-9 three pointers to lead the Rams past Yeshiva University 57-55 tonight to improve to 3-1, 2-0 in the Skyline. Yeshiva falls to 2-4, 1-2 in the conference.

The first half featured 11 lead changes with the Rams leading by three at the half, 31-28. Farmingdale continued to build the lead in the second and led by as much as 11 points. With 7:08 remaining and a 10-point Rams lead, Yeshiva went on an 11-2 run as senior guard Ian Ribald (Dallas, TX/Yavneh Academy) registered nine points over the final four minutes to get within one with seconds left on the clock. Junior guard Peter Lipka (Shelton, CT/Shelton) hit a free throw in the final seconds to push the lead back to 57-55 and the Rams held on for the win.

Santana had a career night as he set a new career high for points and three-pointers in a game. Lipka finished with seven points and junior forward Brian Robinson (White Plains, NY/White Plains) grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.

Yeshiva's Ribald had 22 points and seven boards for Yeshiva, while senior center Harel Vatavu (Ramat Gan, Israel/Blich) had 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Farmingdale State returns to action against Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday, December 9th for a conference game in Riverdale, NY at 1:00pm.
