Hartwick College breezed to a 63-40 win against the University of New England in the consolation game. Cory Carson \'08 had a game-high 19 points and Jan Cocozziello \'09 dropped in 14 for the Hawks (1-1). Hartwick\'s defense limited the Nor\'Easters to 26.5 percent (13-49) shooting from the field.
