HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — For the second time in four nights, the Valiants went on the road in the Skyline Conference and came out with a commanding win, storming past the Centenary (N.J.) Cyclones 93-62 Saturday night at Hackettstown High School in Hackettstown, N.J.

Five Valiants scored in double figures, no one played more than 25 minutes and all 15 healthy players saw time in a game that was never close. Manhattanville jumped out to a 19-0 lead less than six minutes in and led by at least nine points the rest of the way. After going to the locker room with a 40-25 halftime lead, the Valiants started the second half on a 32-12 run to bust the game open.

Cody Moffett led all players with 18 points on a perfect 8-of-8 shooting night. The junior added four assists, five rebounds and two steals in just 19 minutes. John DiBetta, 13 points and nine rebounds, and Donte Chisolm, 12 points and five assists, also scored in double figures.

The 10 Valiant reserves combined to play 99 minutes and score 40 points, led by 11 from junior big man Eduardo Huezo. Freshman Angelo Laroche also reached double-figures from the bench, scoring a career-high 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting, including a pair of three-pointers.

Manhattanville shot an even 50.0% from the field and held the Cyclones to 28.4% from the floor. The Valiants also held a commanding 55-40 edge on the glass. Josh Davidson led Centenary (N.J.) (3-13, 1-7 Skyline) with 17 points.

The Valiants maintained their spot atop the Skyline Conference with the win and will return to league action Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. against Saint Joseph’s (L.I.) at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, N.Y. Tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day of game for $5 or online at www.GoValiants.com. Admission for Manhattanville students is free.
