Sophomore forward Jenn Russell (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) added a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Ospreys, who improve to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in the NJAC.
The Lady Raptors fall to 3-4 overall and 0-2 in the NJAC with their third straight loss.
Stockton grabbed a 27-19 halftime lead in an opening 20 minutes which featured a combined 23 turnovers, including 13 by Rutgers-Camden. The Ospreys shot 10-for-25 (40 percent) from the field, while the Raptors were 8-for-31 (25.8).
Neira and Morris each scored eight points in the opening half for the Ospreys. Morris also collected all four of her blocked shots in the opening half.
The Raptors received six points from sophomore forward Crystal Pezzano (Brockton, MA/Brockton) in the first half.
In addition to Russell’s 10 boards, Morris finished with seven for Stockton.
Rutgers-Camden received a team-high 13 points and nine rebounds from senior forward Karen Carter (Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken), while junior forward Jennifer Christy (Malaga, NJ/Delsea Regional) added 12 points and seven boards.
Rutgers-Camden junior guard Imani Hafiz (Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Regional) collected three steals, giving her 209 for her career. She is now third on the program’s all-time list, passing Karla Robinson (1990-94), who had 208.
Hafiz also added six points, seven rebounds and nine assists.
For the game, Stockton shot 26-for-51 (51 percent), including 16-for-26 (61.5) in the second half. Rutgers-Camden shot 23-for-57 (40.4).
The two teams combined for 41 turnovers, including 23 by Rutgers-Camden.
The Lady Raptors return to NJAC action Saturday with a 1 p.m. home game against William Paterson University. The Ospreys also play Saturday, traveling to Catholic University for a 6 p.m. non-conference game.
