CLINTON, N.Y. — Tsakani Ngobeni \'07 poured in a season-high 26 points and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to help lead Hamilton College to a 68-64 non-league win against visiting Utica College at Scott Field House on Nov. 28.

Ngobeni scored 20 points in the second half, when Hamilton outscored Utica 35-26. He has posted a double-double in all four games this season. The Continentals (4-0 overall) shot 55 percent from the field in the final 20 minutes while the Pioneers were just 10 of 35 (28.6 percent) from the floor.

Utica (3-1) led 38-33 at the half. The Pioneers shot 53.6 percent (15-28) from the field in the first half. Giorgi Chavleishvili \'08 kept Hamilton close the first 20 minutes as he scored all nine of his points in the first half. Zarrette Rogers \'07 ended up with nine points for the game.

Ray Bryant \'07 led Utica with 23 points and eight rebounds. Doug Herring \'09 added 14 points, seven boards and five assists. Jack Lighthall \'07 handed out a game-high six assists.

The Pioneers led 54-49 with 9:45 left, but Ngobeni sparked a 9-0 Continental run with seven points to give Hamilton a 58-54 advantage. Utica came back to tie the score at 61-all until Ngobeni\'s lay-up with 3:27 remaining put the Continentals in the lead for good.

Hamilton leads the all-time series against the Pioneers, 71-26. The Continentals host Wesleyan University for another non-league game on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m.
