ROCHESTER - The SUNY Potsdam women\'s basketball team fell 46-57 to host St. John Fisher in today’s Holiday Inn Marketplace Invitational in Rochester. The women now move to 1-1 on the season.
Cortney Poirier (Moira/Brushton-Moira) once again led the Bears as she scored 15 points and added 6 rebounds to be named to the All-Tournament Team. Maureen Curley (Madrid/ Madrid-Waddington) followed with 9 points as she led all rebounders with 10 boards. Rachel Graf (Elbridge/Elbridge) finished with 4 points and 7 rebounds to join Poirier on the All-T0urnament Team.
The Lady Bears will play their home opener next Tuesday at 6 p.m. when they welcome Keystone College to Maxcy Hall.
