Sophomore forward RYAN PHILLIP, a mid-season addition to the Yellow Jackets proved to be immediately prosperous, as he notched game-highs of 23 points and eight rebounds in his first game, City Tech’s 93-88 road win over Brooklyn College on Wednesday night. Senior forward OTIS SAYLEE scored a season high 22 points (along with six rebounds, five assists and four steals) in the Jackets’ first CUNYAC victory of the season, snapping an eight-game losing streak. Sophomore guard JAMAAL HALL was also spectacular with 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals while shooting 8-12 from the floor and 2-2 from the three-point arc.
