Woldeslassie finished the game shooting 7-of-17 from the floor, including 3-of-7 from three. He also added seven assists - six in the first half.
Macalester (11-14, 8-12 in the MIAC) jumped out to an early 31-11 lead in the first half, but the Pipers (8-17, 6-14) fought back to cut the lead to 41-38 at the break. Hamline went on a 16-4 run sparked by six points from sophomore Tanner Anderson.
Anderson scored a career-high 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting in the contest. Sophomore Tony Thrasher scored 21 points for Hamline - 19 coming in the first half.
The Pipers took a brief lead after a pair of Anderson free throws, but the Scots responded with baskets on their next two possessions. The Scots later went on a 10-0 spurt as junior Tom Conboy scored six of his 20 points in the run. Conboy also grabbed 11 rebounds.
Brad Liddell chipped in 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting for the Scots.
