Potsdam State 76, Buffalo State 75

NORTHFIELD, Minn. — Tony Thrasher had 25 points as Hamline University outlasted St. Olaf for a 73-67 men's basketball victory on Wednesday.

Mark Bergstrom had 15 points and 15 rebounds, and Bobby Hunter added 15 and 14 for St. Olaf (3-5, 1-3 MIAC) in the loss.

The Pipers (2-6, 1-3 MIAC) build a 13 point lead when Thrasher scored 10 points in a two-plus minute stretch near the end of the first half.

St. Olaf was 3-for-20 from three-point land. The Oles are shooting 20.2 percent from the arc in their 3-5 start.

Hamline, too, struggled from three. The Pipers managed to make 3-of-19 from downtown.

Jon DeRock added 14 and Sam Wiener 10 points for Hamline in the win. Kyle Foster collected had 13 boards.
