POTSDAM, N.Y. – Senior Tim Reinhardt (Hilton/Hilton) and sophomore Brendan Graney (Ticonderoga/Ticonderoga) led all Bears scorers with 16 and 15 points respectively in their conference win over visiting Oswego State. With the win, Potsdam moves into a tie for sixth place with SUNYIT, keeping them in contention for a play-off run.
Potsdam returned from an early 5-3 deficient, and with a three-pointer by Brandon Siskavich (Peru/Peru), took the lead for good, never trailing again through out the game. Siskavich would finish with a double-double with eleven points and eleven rebounds. Sophomore Damon Brown (Staten Island/Port Richmond) added 12 points and two rebounds.
Leading all scorers was Oswego’s Erik Roberson (Buffalo/City Honors) with 25 points and seven boards in thirty-seven minutes of play. Forward Matt Burridge (Hannibal/Hannibal) added 12 points and six rebounds. Oswego sits one game above the Bears in SUNYAC conference standings, at 6-4. The Lakers next game is at conference leading Brockport on the 2nd of February.
Potsdam will play again Friday the 2nd of February on the road at Cortland. Tip off is 8pm.
