ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester shot a season’s high 58% from the floor and rolled to an 88-57 victory over visiting Buffalo State College at the Louis Alexander Palestra here tonight.

Uche Ndubizu hit nine of 10 from the floor and led the Yellowjackets with a career high 21 points. All 12 players scored for Rochester (4-1). Robert Dominiak had 12 points, hitting four of five outside the arc. Jeff Juron and Mike Chmielowiec (Batavia) scored nine points apiece. Dan Milbrand had eight.

Kharey Wood led the Bengals with 16 points in 19 minutes off the bench. Dante Griggs had 10 points. Buffalo State is 2-2.

A three-point goal by Dominiak gave UR its largest lead of the first half, 27-11, with 6:09 left. It was 39-24 at halftime.

The lead ballooned to as much as 35, 73-49, when Max Kaplan fed Milbrand for a layup with 6:08 to play. Kaplan had six points and five assists.

Wood was the catalyst of an 11-0 run over 1:19, scoring seven points and assisting on two other baskets. The flurry came after Rochester head coach Mike Neer emptied his bench and pulled BSC within 74-50 with 4:27 left.
